| The legend of Badger, Ratty,
Toad and
Mole Take the qualities of the
Badger, the thinker, the philosopher and the politician. The resourceful
Rat, scavenging for things of use, The intuition of the Toad, coupled with the building and
architectural skills of the Mole. Well, in this instance, none of these
apply.
For the Badger in
our story was accident prone
The Rat was not in the least
bit resourceful,
The Toad thought intuition was something to
do with trains,
And the Mole had the
navigation skills of a brick.
And so armed heavily against the elements,
the four of them took up climbing as a hobby, they took:-
- GPS (with no batteries)
- Ropes (but couldn't tie a knot)
- More cameras than people
- and lots of mobile phones, none of which
worked!
And together they set out to explore this
green and pleasant land, to explore the mountains, the valleys, the lakes
and of course test the finest local ales that could be found. And then test
them again just to be sure.
Eagles may soar! but weasels
don't get sucked into jet engines!
